About the Journal

All contributors are invited to submit their original articles to kslreview@ksl.edu.np

Kathmandu School of Law Review (KSLR) is the flagship journal of Kathmandu School of Law, dedicated to showcasing the diverse aspects of legal academia and research embraced by scholars, students, and practitioners. Our main goal is to promote scholarly discussions in legal field by publishing research-based journals, sharing knowledge, and creating a platform to enhance legal academia, both nationally and globally. Manuscripts submitted by contributors go through a comprehensive review, editing, and quality control process before being published by the KSLR Editorial Board.

We welcome submissions from students of law schools, advocates, members of the judiciary, academia, personnel from international organizations, strategic affairs think-tanks, and governmental foreign policy think-tanks. KSLR looks for articles that offer critical insights into contemporary legal issues and contribute to solving global problems.

KSLR had been publishing one issue per year for Volumes 1 through 3. Starting from Volume 4, we have been publishing two issues per year, one in March and one in September. Each issue features articles from legal scholars, practitioners, or students from various countries, covering a wide range of contemporary legal topics. However, due to a delay caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, we have shifted to a temporary publication cycle of one issue per year with the aim of returning to the bi-annual schedule starting in 2024.

Our aspiration is to become a go-to journal for anyone interested in legal scholarship and to gain greater support in nurturing quality scholarship in the future. The ISSN for KSLR is 2091-2110.
